Interested in renting the clubhouse?
The Slovenian Club clubhouse is available for rent during the daytime hours before 3:00 p.m. on week days and 12:00 p.m. (noon) on weekends. Contact the club manager for more details.
These events include banquets, holiday parties, Sunday brunch, and tailgate parties, tours to casinos and Amish country. Several of these events will be added throughout the year. Please refer to the Club Bulletin Board or our website for dates, times, and contact people.
Monthly Steak, Chicken or Pork Chop Dinners
Dinners are served between the hours of 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on scheduled nights. Dinners may include other activities and live entertainment. There is NO dinner for the month of December.

Fairport Jammers Nights are held every other Friday unless noted otherwise in calendar. Jam sessions start at 8:30 p.m. and last until ????????????. ALL musicians are welcomed and encouraged to participate.

Below are some of the most common phrases in Slovenian you might find useful in everyday conversations in Slovenia. Examples are written in grammatically correct Slovenian, so you are advised to read Slovenian Pronunciation Guide beforehand.
lahko noč = Good Night
pivo = Beer
ö /ø/ and ü /y/ are used in some eastern dialects of Slovenian.
Elsewhere there are usually pronounced /e/ and /i/respectively.
l is pronounced /w/ in past participles and sometimes in other words.
m is pronounced /ɱ/ before f and v.
n is pronounced /ŋ/ before g and k.
